Brighton Celebration Day, Sunday 13th November:
The property development company responsible for the subdivision of Brighton in the northern suburbs runs an annual celebration day, this year on 13th November. We have been asked to present a program, in which we will perform highlights from Pirates of Penzance, HMS Pinafore and The Gondoliers.
The general public will all be welcome at this free event to be held at Brampton Park, Knightsbridge Boulevard, Butler on Sunday 13th November, at 12 noon.
Summerset Festival; Potted Pinafore, Friday 10th February 2012.
The City of Stirling sponsors an annual Summerset Festival at the amphitheatre on Scarborough Beach. We presented a highly successful “Potted Pirates” in February 2011, and propose to present “Potted Pinafore” on February 10th 2012.
The audience at “Potted Pirates” was large (estimated 1000 or so) and most enthusiastic. We hope for no less to “Potted Pinafore”. Again, all are most welcome to this free event.
I Have a Song to Sing Oh!; Subiaco Arts Centre, June 2012
With a script by Melvyn Morrow this traces the story of George Grossmith, Gilbert and Sullivan’s most famous “funny man” in the first productions, supported and illustrated by a large cast of soloists and chorus. More details will follow later.
The Mikado; Octagon Theatre, September or October 2012
Possibly the best known and loved Savoy opera. More details to follow soon.
