The Gilbert and Sullivan Society of WA and the Savoy Opera Chorale were proud to present Princess Ida!

Friday 13th Oct 7.30pm
Saturday 14th Oct 2.30pm
Sunday 15th Oct 2.30pm
at the G&S Hall, Lemana Rd, Nollamara

‘Princess Ida’ is another wonderful G&S opera that is not performed in Perth as often as the more popular Mikado, Pirates or Pinafore however, with its roots set deep in Alfred Tennyson’s blank verse poem ‘The Princess’, it makes for a very interesting and entertaining story line. Of course, there are plenty of laughs and as usual, Sullivan’s music is beyond reproach. The production will be directed by Society Secretary and SOC member Margaret Jones.

The cast:
King Hildebrand: Glenn Rowan
King Gama: Max Page
Prince Hilarion: Wesley Williams
Florian: David Cosgrove

Scynthius: James Cooper
Princess Ida: Nicole McMullen
